One Sweet Baby Girl and a little yawn! I just couldn't get enough...of that sweetness! Cute!! I had a missionary family stay with me for a couple of weeks. Here are a few shots I took while babysitting. How cute are they?!?
Dear Shauna, I've had fun reading your blog! I was in Moldova several times and have been to some of the same places you mention in your posts. It's nice to remember the good places and people there. Spring is beautiful, so green!, but I hope you'll be there when the fruits like strawberries and cherries, etc., start to become available. That's always really great! Good luck with your work.
tf, I'm glad you had fun reading the blog. There are lots of good places and definately some good people here! I have made many friends here. :)I will be here through June, so maybe I'll get to eat some of the fruits you mentioned.THANKS for your comment.
patty, They are adorable! (They are Korean-American) You are welcome for the updates. Thanks for reading. Yes, KFC was super exciting...as was Pizza Hut. Love you, too.
I spent nearly a year in Moldova home schooling American kids. I learned a ton! I am so thankful for the opportunity to live in and experience life in a different culture. I highly recommend it.
Moldova, an ancient land of castles, was frequently controlled by invading forces throughout its long history, including those from Hungary, Poland, and the Turkish Ottoman Empire. After a long association with Romania, it was absorbed into the former Soviet Union (USSR) during World War II. It then gained its independence from Russia in 1991, to become an independent, neutral state. Famed for sparkling wine production, at one time it supplied Russia with over 300 million bottles of wine annually. Still suffering from the impact of the former Communist system, its future now rests on the fertile land, as it's ideally suited for a variety of agricultural industries.
